Binsar can be visited throughout the year. Summers are a great time to enjoy sightseeing and trekking in the pleasantly warm weather. If you want to enjoy the snowfall you must visit Binsar in the winters.
- Summers season in Binsar begins with the month of April and continues till the end of June. The temperature may rises between 15 to 30 degree centigrade. The days are warm and pleasant whereas night becomes colder. The summer is perfect for sightseeing activities.
- July to September is the monsoon period. Although the temperature is very delightful in monsoon season rain showers increase the chances of landslides. So it is not the ideal time to make a visit
- Winter in Binsar starts from October to March. The temperature falls in the winter during the months of January and February. The temperature ranges from 2 to 10 degree centigrade. You can visit Binsar in January and February to enjoy snowfall.

1. Binsar Wildlife Sanctuary
There are so many places to visit in Binsar though wildlife sanctuary is the key attraction for visitors. There is a museum built for flora and fauna here. . If you want to enjoy wildlife here reach the spot between March and April. It is the wildlife Sanctuary known for numerous types of flora. The wildlife provides shelter for 200 species of birds Such as tits, nuthatches, forktail, blackbirds, laughingthrush, parakeets, magpies, monal, kalij pheasant, koklas, woodpeckers, eagles and Eurasian jays and wild animals like Braking Deer, Himalayan Bear, Leopard, Fox, Musk Deer, Langur, Porcupine, Panthers, Wild Boars, Monkeys, Flying Squirrel, Chital etc.
2. Binsar Zero Point :
After reaching the sanctuary you must go to zero point from where you can view beautiful Himalaya ranges. It is the highest viewing point of the state allows you 360 degree view of Himalayas. It is one of the peaceful and charming destination where you can relax for longer period.
