Almora, a hill town in Almora district of the north Indian state of Uttarakhand. The hill station situated at an average elevation of 1460 meters above sea level. The name of this hill Almora considered from Kilomar a short plant founded nearby this region. It was situated in Kumaon division. It was one of the famous hill station in Uttaranchal after Mussoorie and Nainital.
