Langtang National Park is among the famous national parks in Nepal. Situated in the North of Kathmandu. And can be easily reached from the capital city of Nepal Kathmandu. The unspoiled national park is rich in biodiversity that was established in 1976. The sanctuary spread over an area of 1,710 square kilometers. And it is well known as the first Himalayan National Park. Moreover, the national park is the ideal place for trekking. The famous sightseeing and trekking areas in the park including Holy Lakes At Gosainkunda perched Forested Hillsides above the village Helambu and Langtang Valley.

Wildlife At Langtang National Park:
The Ravines of Bhote Koshi and Langtang Khola are thickly forested with rhododendron, maple, alder, and oak. The wildlife enthusiasts can spot the rare red pandas in the forest area around Ghoda Tabela, in the lower Langtang Valley and below Gosainkunda. Some of the famous wildlife species can found in Langtang National Park including wild boar, ghoral, Himalayan black bear, leopard, Himalayan tahr, mush deer and grey langur monkey.
