Ziro hill station, a hill located in Lower Subansiri district of the Indian state of Arunachal Pradesh. Ziro hill station has very little tourist sights to explore. It is rich in biological diversity with flora and fauna. Five small rivulets namely Subansiri, Dafala Nyshi, Apatani, and Miri flow nearby. Kile Pakho, one of the high mountain ridge, where travelers can view the Eastern Himalayas. Ziro boasts some peaks also; one is the Salin peak on the old Apatani trade route to North Lakhimpur. Government Handicraft Centre, from where one can collect hat made of bamboo or cane, textiles woven by the tribals and colourful shawls.
An extraordinarily crafted metal replica of the Mithun is available from here. Interesting other sightseeing places include the 5000 years old Meghna Cave Temple, Tarin Fish Farm, Sidheshwar Nath Shiv Linga, and ‘Pine Grove’. Trekking through the hill gives a wonderful experience to the tourists.
