Sarykum Barkhan and Sulak Canyon
We will take you to the very heart of Dagestan—the Sulak Canyon, one of the deepest in the world. You'll experience its breathtaking beauty from multiple panoramic viewpoints, each offering a unique perspective of the turquoise Sulak River and its towering cliffs. Next, we’ll head to the Chirkey Reservoir, the largest man-made lake in Dagestan, surrounded by stunning mountain landscapes. To round off our journey, we'll visit the Sarykum Dune—the only sand dune in Europe, whose scenery resembles a true oasis amid the mountains.
Derbent is an open-air museum, a city with over 2,000 years of history. As we stroll through its narrow streets, you'll feel the atmosphere of an ancient Eastern town and explore its most iconic landmarks. You'll visit the Naryn-Kala Fortress, offering panoramic views of the city and the Caspian Sea, the Juma Mosque—the oldest in Russia—and the historic Magal quarters. The tour will conclude with a visit to the "Lun" Ekranoplan, a unique Soviet-era military ground-effect vehicle hidden on the shores of the Caspian Sea.

Gamsutl and Salta Falls
We will then set off for the Irganay Reservoir, where you can paddleboard or, for an additional fee, experience the thrill of a motorized paragliding flight. Next, we’ll explore the underground Saltinsky Waterfall, nestled within a narrow canyon, before ascending to the Gunib Fortress, a site deeply tied to the history of the Caucasian War. We’ll also visit Chokh, one of Dagestan’s most picturesque mountain villages, famous for its terraced landscapes. Finally, our journey will take us to the abandoned ghost village of Gamsutl, where ancient stone houses stand frozen in time.
